Rainbow Transfusion

This cake took me over a week! The cloud is a rice crispy treat covered in fondant, the pillow is a chocolate cake covered in fondant, and the mattress is also a cake (marble! yum!) covered in fondant. The stand was aluminum foil wrapped around dowels. The transfusion liquids were ... hmmm ... you know those wax bottles with the sweet candy juice in them? Yes, that's what they were. They had bent earring hooks on them. And yes, Rainbow twizzlers were the tubes. I brought it to a pool party (transportation was HARD!) and I was a little sad to cut it. I mean, a week's worth of hard work wasted? But I sucked it up, because what are cakes for? Exactly. IT. WAS. AWESOME! There weren't many people there, so it wasn't all eaten, but no harm there. I'll bring it to the next party! I was SWAMPED with compliments after dessert, but who says that's a bad thing?
