Arabian Crescent

Last year I made myself a promise that no matter what, this year I would make an entry.

A year passed and I got THE Threadcakes e-mail in my inbox.
The hardest part of the Threadcakes contest must be picking a design.... ;)

I found the perfect design for me and was eager to create it. But...... Because spare free time is an unusual phenomenon I could only plan 2 days this very week for making the cake. Unfortunatly for me the design I choose was already made and was looking totally awesome, I could never do it better myself so I decided to pick another design!

A friend of mine wanted to help me and help was very welcome!

Actually on the morning we started doing this cake we still had to choose from four different designs (talking about good planning anyone?)

We dediced to choose a design we haven't seen (yet) in this contest en we had lots of fun creating it!

My brother, who sleeps, eat, drinks in threadless t-shirts had the honor of cutting (slaughtering) the cake. And it was Yummie! :)
