Description
Hi everyone!
I present my work, this tiger's head is flavored mojito.
I made two cakes, one lime and one lemon, I froze them first to work better.. Liime mousse is not homemade, was a prepared one I had to spend and I added fresh chopped mint. Everything is damped in a homemade rum syrup. It's really fresh and delicious.
I put a cake on another and with a knife I started giving shape. I opened it in layers and damped it with the syrup. Then I filled it with lime and mint mousse.
I made a sugar fondant and dyed it , but as I finished the coloring, I had to finish it with a brush. I prepared a thick glacé and whit the help of the pastry bag I made the shape of the face and let it dry. With the brush and the metallic colors, I painted all the glacé. I must say that the humidity we have in Barcelona these days, helped the ears to fall slightly, but I'm quite happy of the result. I hope you all like it.
Regards.
