Don't Worry Everything Is Going To Be Amazing

Baking a Threadcake for my birthday seems to have become an annual tradition.

I chose another text design this year, with the idea of replicating it as precisely as possible on the outside. The inside of the cake, however, is a bit unexpected, amazing, even.

The cake is a yellow butter cake, batter divided into 6 parts and dyed with food coloring. I added the batters to the pan using a zebra cake technique, to create ribbons of color baked into the cake itself.

The frosting is my favorite fudge frosting from Abby Dodge's Weekend Baker. Letters are royal icing.
