Ugly Summer Sweater

I wanted to make a 2d cake this year, so I went through all the threadless designs and compiled a pretty hefty folder of possibilities. I kept coming back to Ugly summer sweater, thinking that it would lend itself pretty well to being piped in royal icing. Only problem was that I had never really done any piping or worked with royal icing. After a while I decided that I would just learn to and all though the piping is a little messy comparing the piping I did at the beginning to the piping I did at the end you can definitely see an improvement.
The cake is a lemon cake with lemon butter cream and covered in marshmallow fondant.
