BLACK LIPS

I started by having a look at these amazing pictures and found BLACK LIPS and thought she was amazing and such a challenge to make into a cake. Im a novice baker and this is probably the 10th big cake ive made, first ive sculpted. I used madiera cake with buttericing in the centre, then fondant all over using flowers to cover her hair as i thought it gave it texture.

THis cake was so much fun to make and im very happy with it. A bit of hair did fall off but i think she still looks great.
