Pizza Loves Pizza

I made this cake. Last years story was way better (I heart color cake for my color blind brother that my friends and I drove to San Diego to surprise him with for his birthday). But this years cake is just plain cooler. One of my very best friends had a birthday, and so did her wonderful sister (not twins)! Turns out, they like pizza, I like pizza, and apparently, pizza LOVES pizza (get it?). Majority of the time I was making this, the cake looked like Pac-man, which was pretty cool and fun, but not my goal. Luckily, the end result was a pizza eating himself! Then I had to take it to a party to surprise some sisters (I like surprises?). And then, someone brought an ice cream cake... and in Tucson, ice cream cakes reign supreme. Just kidding kind of.. In the end, my cake was gobbled up pretty good, and it was also totally delicious (lemon cake with lemon curd and a swiss meringue butter cream). All in all, a fabulous night with wonderful friends and the best tasting cake I've ever made.
