Heart Seeker

I am a year in to cake making and am stil a novice and learning new techniques everyday. Its something that I've grown to love and was drawn to the Threadcakes contest because of their unique designs. Heart Seeker is my first entry into Threadcakes ever. My six year old son picked it out because he loved that Tinman looked like a zombie. I think I plan on making another entry, maybe 3D very soon. In all this cake took me three hours and was made using two oval white cakes with butter cream icing. It is covered in fondant and I air brushed the heart for a little more depth and texture. The image on top is a piped frozen buttercream transfer. That's about it. I hope you like it!
