Description
For this cake I used Funfetti cake mix, white frosting, black frosting (to make the white frosting gray), yellow and blue decoratvie frosting, marshmallows, yellow Laffy Taffy, and food coloring.
Initially I wanted to make the bird out of cupcakes, but the cupcakes were difficult to make round for the top of the bird's head, so I squished marshmallows (to make it into "marshmallow taffy") to form the bird. I mixed neon pink and red food coloring to get the bird's color right, and used the yellow Laffy Taffy to form the bird's beak. Including baking time, it took a couple of hours to make, and since Funfetti is my favorite, it tasted delicious!
