Furious Fowl

This cake was a monster! This puppy took 5 days of serious concentration...at least as much as a person can afford while watching a three year old. It's dark chocolate with cream cheese buttercream frosting with vanilla marshmallow fondant. Very yummy. The work was done on print outs wrapped in plastic which were then transfered to the cake after everything was sculpted and painted. I have such a new found respect for relief sculpters now ...it's really difficult to create a three dimensional relief of an existing two dimenional image and maintain the same look when photographed. My brain hurts from all the adjustments.
