Cutout Ralph

This is my first Threadcakes entry and it was so exciting to go through all of the designs! I picked the Cutout Ralph because I thought it would look so cool as a cake. I started with a pound cake for its sturdiness. I made two just in case I needed extra. Then I carved out the shape and frosted it. I make my own fondant so I had to make sure I had all of the colors right. Then I went to work on all of the pieces. The ribs were pretty tricky to say the least. After I put it all together, I then took a black edible marker and outlined all of the detail.
