Description
I thought this dapper chihuahua looked interesting and would be perfect to try out a structured cake. He was made of chocolate cake and swiss meringue buttercream. Structurally, I used a single threaded rod and toothpicks for the paws and ears. His legs had to be rice krispy treats.
The jacket and cane were made out of modeling chocolate and the stripes were piped out of royal icing. Total this took me three long nights. It's my first entry for Threadcakes and it was a lot of fun to do!
