Introduction to Molecular Bonding

I decided to use this design for my Threadcake because I have a BS in biology and have been a science geek my whole life. I chose to use a confetti cake because it's more of a party that way! All of the molecules, cups, beer, etc. was done with royal icing. I mixed all the colors myself, getting pretty darn close to the shirt colors, if I do say so! It took me about 3 days overall to finish the cake, with all the fridge time to harden the icing! It's not perfect, but it was sure delicious!!
