Catburger

I love cats, burgers, and cupcakes, so I went with the "Catburger" design! I baked some lemon cupcakes and cut off the tops of 2 of the cakes. These tops became the buns of the burger. I then used fondant to sculpt the kitty and also to make the lettuce, tomato, pickle, and cheese. I mixed some icing sugar with red food dye and vanilla to make "ketchup" frosting. The sesame seeds on top of the cupcake are fondant as well. It took about 3 hours total to make. I think making the kitty was the most difficult as he is so tiny! I had to use a toothpick to apply his eyes and other facial features. It was challenging but I had fun making (and eating!) my CatCupCake :]
