Golden Traveler

Looking through the mass amount of designs to choose from, this image caught my eye. I love autumn and this was a practical design for my 2D cake entry. I decided to make a white cake with a buttercream filling, with a buttercream mask. I then covered the cake in marshmallow fondant that I made on an earlier date (no pictures of that process, sorry!). The leaf was cut out of more fondant, and then proceeded to color. After the time I spent painting my precious leaf, I placed it onto my covered cake and it was all set and done. I spent a few days working on this a couple hours or so each day. The painting of the leaf took me around 3 hours or so, however it was worth it.
