Animals with Eyepatches! Yes!

Making these cakes took about 6 hours to make from baking the cakes to working with the fondant (rolling it out, kneading in a color, applying it to the cake) to the final product. Each animal was cut out using a tracing on wax paper. Icing was applied to help the fondant stick. The hardest part was working with the fondant (its actually physically tiring!) and the easiest part was eating the delicious final product!
