I Love Fairy Tales

My sister and I decided to make our first attempt at cake decorating. It seemed like a daunting task so we decided to use cake mix just in case our decorating ended up to be a complete failure - at least the cake will still be yummy. To be completely safe, we used french vanilla cake mix and made our own vanilla buttercream frosting. Our frog is made of cake and gum paste and covered with a gum paste and fondant mixture. Our froggy has grown quite near and dear to our hearts and will probably become a frozen reminder of our first cake adventure.

We would like to thank William for helping us decide on our design, our "other sister" Roxanne for morally supporting us through 8 hours of cake-making and our parents for helping to clean up the mess :D
