Well, This Just Really Sucks...

This is my second entry on Threadcakes. This cake took me about about 12-15 hours total to bake, frost, cover, and sculpt. I alternated vanilla and chocolate cake on both tiers and filled and frosted it with a homemade chocolate frosting. The Scrabble pieces and tray are all made out of fondant. I covered the whole cake in red fondant, and then put a white piece of homemade marshmallow fondant on the outside. Once this was dried, I painted it with food coloring to make it look like a Scrabble board and added all of the extra pieces. I took the final cake into work, and it was devoured in about a day.
