Bye Bye Apocalypse

My daughter and I picked the "Bye Bye Apocalypse" design as a weekend project. Out plan was to make a shirt for the bottom layer and a skull shape for the top layer. We decided to use milk chocolate cake because chocolate always puts a smile on your face. We made chocolate buttercream icing to "dirty" ice the cakes. Then we used fondant to cover them. We made color flow icing for the details. From start to finish this cake took two days to make. It was a lot of fun to make and eat. My daughter helped me in a big way taking photos of the process from beginning to end.
