There's No Crying In Breakfast cake by Sidney Blumenthal

Description

This was my first attempt at any cake, so I hope you all enjoy it (and I hope it doesn't end up on cakewrecks!) I really liked the design of the "Spilled Milk" shirt, so I went to work designing the cake. I bought all my ingredients (eggs, milk, flour, sugar, icing mix, fondant, coloring), and baked 3 9 inch square cakes. I cut one in half, stacked the 2 halves, iced it, rolled out the white fondant, and covered the "milk carton." I then stacked the other 2 cakes and carved the "bowl" iced it, colored and rolled the fondant and covered it. I then created the "spoon", shaped all the faces and stripes out of fondant, and let them all dry. I attached them to the cake using a little icing (or water in the case of the stripes). This process took 3 days!! I learned a lot, and know if I had it to do again, I could do an even better job! Enjoy, I know I did...Yummo!!
