Funkalicious

This cake was built by the Leeanne and Olivia machine, AKA Threadless users icicle821 and live wire. We got everything but the black icing done over the course of about 6 hours in one day (with movie watching in between!), and the icing done the following day in about an hour or two. We used cheap America's Choice white cake and vanilla frosting; the cake was gooey and the frosting tasted kinda crappy, but in the end it looked and even tasted okay! We baked three cakes and they were all dyed with Wilton dyes. We had much higher expectations for this cake, but it just didn't end up working out spectacularly... that did not, however, stop us from having fun, and we'll be back next year!
