Description
I thought building a cake out of cupcakes would be fuuunnn! I also thought I should make it all edible and use only yummy things for decorating. (I don't like the taste/texture of sensible building tools like fondant and marzipan.)
A few collapses, icing meltdowns, batches of cupcakes, and spaghetti-support breakages later and it was still (almost) fun, but I wouldn't do it again anytime soon! The cupcakes are butter pecan and zucchini (not together :P) with french vanilla buttercream, nutella, and white chocolate mint melting wafers melted down for frosting. Totally worth it (6 cupcakes later)!
