Description
I've always thought this shirt was a scream. So, I picked it. It took me a couple days to make, although I think it could've been faster if I didn't get distracted so easily.
It is a homemade vanilla layer cake with almond buttercream frosting. The smaller fruit is gumpaste painted with food coloring/vodka mixture. The bigger fruit is cake at center, wrapped in gumpaste and painted with food coloring/vodka mixture.
My roommate dug in last night as she threatened to start eating the can of Crisco next to me had I not let her. She loved the almond buttercream (my personal fave) and seemed to have an overall enjoyable cake-eating experience. She wanted me to cover the grape with a napkin because she thought he was staring at her. Now I want to put him on her pillow.
