Description
My 2nd Threadcakes entry!
I love the “Cookies” T-shirt, it just screamed cupcakes to me… My nephew is turning 4 so I figured I’d make these for Threadcakes then give them to him for his b-day…
I started with a vanilla bean cake and I also did a chocolate butter torte, both from scratch. After baking I made vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream and dyed a cup-full blue. I used my handy grass pastry tip to make Cookie Monster. Then piped swirls on the other cupcakes. I used white chocolate melting wafers and stuck chocolate pieces to them for the eyes. Last thing was add mini chocolate chip cookies to the cake and then crumble on into Cookie Monster’s mouth.
Took a few hours to bake. Probably took longer trying to take decent pictures!
