Ninjas vs Luchadores

I decided to challenge myself and make something I normally wouldnt want to.
On the first night, I decided to create all of my ninjas. I guess i'm a little bias...i love ninjas...luchadores...not so much.
So i created all of my ninjas and decided to complete the rest the night after.
Night 2:
I first began be baking the cake (chocolate cake to be exact)i baked it to perfection in 2 square pans and allowed them to cool.
while those were cooling, i created my vanilla buttercream frosting and also set that aside. whew.
now it was time to take on the challenge of creating the luchadores. (these seriously reminds me of the movie nacho libre...) anyways...
so its getting pretty late and these luchadores were being produced so slowly. a little frustrated as i was fighting the clock (mainly because i wanted to sleep) i decided to make as many luchadores as possible before i called it i night. after creating a good handful, i decided that i would let both the ninjas and luchadores rest up before their battle and i cut, frosted, and fondanted my cake. i had a fun time fondanting this cake and it was pretty challenging. all done, i set it aside and went to bed.
morning 3:
after getting ready for work, i came to check up on the boys and the battle field. all ready, i placed them accordingly and said good luck to the nacho libres.

all in all it was a fun and great learning experience for me.
