Wishless

This was probably the most difficult cake I've ever made! The shape is so...awkward. But I chose it because it looked challenging and I thought it was really cute. It took me about an entire day because I wanted to have it ready to bring to my family over the weekend. I agonized about what to do for the fire, wings, and how I would keep the head up for about two whole days. I decided on spun sugar for the fire (first time making it, messy but so glad i tried it), piped chocolate for the wings (I was so scared they wouldn't be able to hold themselves up) and chocolate rice krispie treats for the head. Carving out the tummy was the weirdest thing ever also- I think my dragon is a little on the pudgy side but its okay! My roommates kept calling him 'Nessy' cause they thought he looked like the lockness monster before he was finished, and then they started calling it a cat. Personally, I think it looks like a dragon.
