Description
I decided to make a second entry this year and to choose a dramatic black and white design this time.
My plan was to create a parchment paper template and use black color mist spray to create the black background, then overlay the white arm and face that I made from fondant.
The color mist spray was way too pale, but it gave me a good outline. From there, I painted the back portions with icing color and vodka. I also used that on a small paint brush to make the paint splatter effect.
I was short on time, so i took the opportunity to try out Duff's cake mix and buttercream. They were convenient and really easy to work with.
I'm pretty happy with the result and I think i got Threadcakes out of my system for this year! Ha Ha!
