My husband and I took the weekend to put together this little cutie. The cake is boxed mix funfetti (the hubby's favorite), filled and iced with homemade buttercream, then covered in fondant that was then airbrushed silver. The city and trees are gumpaste, and the baby dino is krispy treat. We first tried covering him in fondant, but we're still in the learning process, and ended up using green chocolate instead. If nothing else, he sure tasted good! His features were painted on with icing gel and vodka. The little guy was attached with toothpicks; the trees with chocolate, and the buildings and several other trees were just set into the cake itself.
