This was a really fun cake to make. I used marshmallows to make the white and blue fondant. The cake is a yellow cake from a mix. I tinted buttercream blue for the frosting, and then covered the cake with the blue fondant to create the background. I cut the page out of the white fondant and then used black food coloring to paint on the details. I also sculpted the fondant a bit to give the page some texture. The piece of tape is a little bit of gelatin. I really love this design and I think I was able to stay pretty true to the original. I am happy with the way it turned out.
