Description
I had to do this because it's just so adorbs.
The cake is a raspberry pound cake with raspberry jam and white chocolate ganache (delicious~~~~).
I covered it with fondant, and for the first time tried making actual edges, not the round ones you usually have when you just put the fondant on.
I succeeded...a bit. But getting straight edges with your fingers and a ruler as tools isn't the easiest thing to do, let me tell you!
I had great fun making my three cakes, and even if I shouldn't win anything, I'm still happy because 1. I had cake, 2. it was delicious, 3. I'm off making my cousin's wedding cake now, so I got some practice in before that and 4. even more of a reason to make more cakes next year :D
