Void

I always have big ambitions when I make a cake, but I am teaching myself how to do it all in the process so it always come out differently than planned. With that being said, I actually really like how this cake turned out. I love how simple it is and it was really pretty delicious. The whipped icing might not have made for the smoothest surface, but it definitely made up for it with how awesome it tasted. The space square and astronaut are made out of gum paste--that was the first time I've ever used it. And those edible markers are probably the best thing ever invented. It took about two days to finish the cake, but look how cool it is.
