Things That Glow...

Considering this is the first time I have ever seriously decorated a cake, I'm pretty happy with the results even if they were not how I planned them to be. The cake is a simple white cake dyed with neon food coloring. I made the fondant from marshmallows and dyed it black (at the expense of my hands being off color for a few days). I free-handed the design on top with an uncooperative tube of icing. I think it took me around six and a half hours to complete. But a large majority of the time it was me fighting with the fondant that I have never used before. I appreciate getting this opportunity though. :)
