Sweet Sounds of Nature

With the deadline for this competition looming, I decided to make a last minute entry and I'm so happy that I did. I had picked out this design months ago, but after moving and starting a new job, it kept getting put off until now. This cake took about 7 hours over 2 days, including baking, frosting, and decorating. It is almost completely edible except for skewers holding on the bird and the record needle, and a piece of wire joining the headphones together. I loved working on this cake, and I hope you like it as much as I do!
