Woolly Woolly

This year I decided to make my Threadcake double as my 23rd birthday cake. I started baking 3 days before my birthday. In total, it took three boxes of cake mix (poured into 6 circular cake pans) and a little over 4 cans of frosting to complete this mammoth of a cake! I also used fondant and food coloring to make the tusks and his knitted hat. Due to a delay in construction (running out of frosting halfway through!), I ended up finishing the cake about a half hour after my birthday officially ended. But hey, cake tastes just as good at one in the morning!
