Hi and thank you for the opportunity to do this amazing cake.
The moment I have seen this design I felt in love. I love magical and mystical stories and a book that come to life was just what I was looking for!
It took a while to do it as the dragon was really tough, but I did it, it looks fantastic and I am really proud of it.
I used three different kind of cakes to make this project, cupcakes and a rectangular cake for the book and a roulade sponge covered and set in melted chocolate and then sugar paste.
The dragon`s head is made of rice krispy treats, edible rice paper and sugar paste and so is the tail. the wings are made of edible rice paper as anything else wasn't working (and trust me I tried lots of metods :)).
