Description
Hi, this is my second entry on this competition and it has been lots of fun making this cake.
My son had asked me to make a scary house as Halloween cake and, as I was scrolling down all the possible designs for my second entry, I came across this one and though it was absolutely perfect.
The house is all made of cake. Its a 3 tiers cake so it has two small cake boards, one half way and one under the roof, and dowels.
All the fences were a true labor of love as hand rolled and stacked and no sticks are present in there, just sugar paste and a lot of patience.
The top of the house is a tiny cake upside down, the ghosts are made out of gum paste and royal icing and held in the cake with a toothpick.
The balcony is a piece of card board, covered in sugar paste and held in place with two toot picks.
Inedible things are 3 tooth picks, 5 dowels and 3 cake boards.
It was really fun and delicious and I hope you'll like it.
