So, how I chose the design? I wanted to make a 2D cake with a design that I love and is a challenge for me. I'm a fan of platform games and I liked the design was exacly what I was looking for. It is a one tier cake, filled with cheese cream with caramel ( dulce de leche ), covered with fondant. It is 100% edible. I estimate that I have spent 10 to 12 hours cutting and painting the fondant and it took me about 3 hours to assemble the picture ... My best friend these days (or rather nights) have been the scalpel, the edible markers the ruler and precision tweezers. I am very happy with the result, it has been a quite challenge, I think making bats 5mm. tall validates you as a painter of Warhammer figures;). Level 1 and 2 have come out too crowded ( I think the cages with skeletons were too big) but once past those levels thing get better. I do not know how many pieces there are in total, I am just going to reveal you that all the bricks without the top and bottom line are separate and attached one by one pieces. Patience is my middle name;).
