Boss Cat

I was searching through the many choices for a cake i could make for my father for fathers day, and i am not sure why but this just stuck out for me. I knew from the beginning i wanted to make him 2D but i felt i wouldn't do him justice lying down so decided to make a 2D standing cake instead. I really enjoy putting in the time to make large 2D characters, and this cake turned out to be my tallest square i have ever done :) The flavor of the cake was Butterscotch Madeira with Pineapple chocolate ganache. The cake was covered in 50/50 modeling chocolate and fondant and the image was made from gumpaste. Enjoy :)
