Old Fashioned Pirate

Trying to find the perfect design was easy this year because I just had to look for the perfect pirate and I found it. I also wanted to try 2D this year instead of 3D so it worked out beautifully both ways. The cake is a vanilla bean and basil with a lemon basil buttercream...my husbands favorite, but because he was on a diet at the time, I had to eat it all myself...shucks!! It took me about 4 hours to make from beginning to end and about 30 minutes to eat it all! Aagrrh!!
