Adventurer

As soon as I read about this contest I knew I had to do it, and I knew I had to do this design. Of course knowing what to do and being able to do it are two different things.

It's the first time I've worked with gum paste, and it took me three tries to get the adventurer acceptable, and still I keep thinking I should have made a fourth try. As for how long it took, don't ask me. I don't want to think about it. The grass alone was long enough.

The cake won't be eaten until tomorrow, but I know it will be delicious from the t-shirt scraps I ate for breakfast this morning.
