Hello!
I chose this design because it is very awesome and thought it would be a good challenge. I made two dark chocolate cakes and used one for the base and one for the main body. I stacked up a rough shape and then carved into it using a chopstick to hold it all in place. I then made the outside using marzipan, fondant and gumpaste but most of the cake got whittled away in the process due to a lack of forsight so eventually I had to build it back up from the bottom again! Overall I am quite happy with it although it is perhaps a bit short and plump compared to the picture due to the nature of fondant insisting on obeying the laws of gravity. I have not tasted it yet as I ate WWAYY too much cake in the making process!
