Let's Go Parasoling

Description
I made this cake in two- three days, without dedicating all my time on it. I baked two different cake bases in my favourite 17 cm pan: one with crushed white chocolate and another one with crushed black chocolate. Then I cut each base horizontally in two layers. I filled the cake with mascarpone and whipped cream frosting and covered it all around with butter cream frosting. At the end I put a fondant sheet on top. And then the fun part started: the decoration :)
I made the little fondant umbrellas using three cookie cutters: a round one, a flower and a heart. All the rest of the designs I painted directly on the cake with food colouring.
In fact that was my first cake I was sorry to cut. It looked like a painting! But eventually it was cut and eaten with pleasure... Well, it was a really good cake and I am proud with it :)
