Description
I love the SublimI'mAwesomeinal design, and I've been waiting for a chance to try making decor sides... though I thought I'd make the colours a bit more appetising than grey.
I made a mirror-image template and placed baking parchment over it, then piped the words out with coloured tuille paste. I put this in the freezer for a couple of hours then covered the writing with jaconde batter and baked it.
Then I made a chiffon sponge to make some cakey layers and a mango mousse.
I trimmed the decor sides and wrapped them around the inside of a cake ring, then layered the sponge and mango mousse with some fresh mango inside. once that had set in the fridge I topped it off with fresh fruits and a fruit glaze. I could almost convince myself it's healthy.
