A Coat of Techni-Color

My friend Christy suggested this shirt and I knew it would be a hard one. I cut the cake into cubes and patched them together to make the base. I would have like to use sugar to make the colored flame things, but I don't quite have those skills yet, so I made them out of fondant. The astronauts are white chocolate, but that proved to be too thin, so most of them broke when I transferred them to the cake. =( As a joke, though, I added some food coloring paste to create some blood on the broken astronauts. We call this one: Jet Pack Accident.
